My students have done an excellent job learning virtually. I want them to close out the year with this painting project. We will be studying the Rainbow Story and the Day the Crayons Left. These two stories are about how different colors play a different role, when they are used. They will make a picture on the canvas, then present it to the class. On the t-shirts, I will stencil in a picture and they will paint that as well.
Since, they did not get to be social this year, I am aiming for this to be a social project where they can collaborate with their classmates. I have a couple of students that are impaired, so this will ensure they will be able to participate.
