These books will help provide access and equity to rich literature and ensure that every scholar always have a variety of books to read. Many students do not have access to books outside of school. Many of their opportunities of reading comes from the classroom. As their teacher, I would like to provide them with multiple opportunities to read a variety of texts. The students at my school are currently underperforming and these books will serve as bridge to helping the students become successful. The books will help to close the opportunity gap!
