Since I teach kindergarten, first and second grade I like to be able to get students out of their seats. All of my students love to hear stories but would love it even more if they were actively involved. With a puppet theatre students will be able to bring some of their favorite stories to life. This will also allow them to use their imagination to create stories of their own during free play. Students will be encouraged to use the puppets any time they're in the library. Active learning creates life long memories.
