In working with students with behavioral difficulties, they often need positive reinforcements to encourage effort and motivation toward a goal. Those goals can be either academic or behavioral.
One of the most difficult tasks for educators these days is finding what motivates our children. Once we can do this, academic and emotional growth is inevitable.
Students with behavioral difficulties need extrinsic motivation to help them reach emotional growth and awareness. Each student is an individual, but in today's society, a majority of our students know and respond well to technology. Tablets are extremely reinforcing to children and are a great motivator to help reach goals no matter what those goals are. As children are tough on equipment and accidents happen, the covers will help protect the tablets so we can have them for many years. Headphones are a great tool for children who have those sensory issues and need to block out any external noises along with not distracting the other students in the classroom.
