Students with disabilities have unique needs that may not allow them to participate along side their peers. Modified equipment can, however, give them that experience to participate and learn proper movement forms and participate alongside their peers who do not have a disability. The equipment posted will also give students with disabilities the opportunity to move and be active. Giving students increased ability to move helps with mental and physical health. They enjoy movement and can become healthier. All children want to be active and play. Modified equipment in p. e. can increase a student's ability to move and participate building their confidence and ALL children should have that opportunity, thank you.
