I am requesting sand timers, alphabet dough mats, alpha bots, sensory rings and more. My students will use these materials to support their social, emotional, behavioral and academical skills. The math and reading supports will help benefit our students with special needs and other students that need extra support in reading, writing and math.
The materials will be lent out to a variety of teachers in our building when they request support for students in their classrooms. These materials will reach many students in the school because they will be shared between staff members. Overall, the goal of this project is to provide alternative materials to teachers to use with students that are having difficulties learning.
