My gifted students will be able to use these materials to learn how to advance their technical skills which can help them in their future jobs, their community, the economy, and possibly even the world. I am preparing my students for possibly futures in technology and engineering and what better way to do that then with something they're excited about like 3D printing, robotics, and STEM activities!
Our gifted students will be able to create models using the 3D printer by learning the ins and outs of the desktop 3D printing. The world of possibilities are endless in what they can create and learn from their experiences using a 3D printer. Students will learn the skills to create something truly awesome! Additionally, the students will learn about robotics and STEM through exploration. Students in the gifted room will participate in Genius Hour activities and several students have shown interest in 3D printing, robotics, and STEM exploration. These tools that I'm requesting, will allow students this year and many years to come explore those interests!
