In a regular school year, students get to play all kinds of instruments. This year, we have been restricted to using instruments that are easily disinfected. Many of our instruments are made of wood or other materials that can not be subjected to harsh cleaners.
This project will make one of our favorite classroom instruments available to us again---the ukulele! These plastic ukuleles can be easily disinfected after use, allowing students throughout the building the opportunity to play. These ukuleles also have color-coded frets which help greatly when learning to play.
