All of our students want to learn technical skills that will help them get started on their medical journey. Currently, we offer our students three courses that will help them dive deeper into the medical field. For example, in medical terminology they learn how to understand the medical language, while in Principles of Health Science, they learn about careers, professional terms, and technical skills. Additionally, in Pharmacology, the learn more about the laws governing the pharmacy environment and entry-level skills needed for pharmacy technicians. By offering BLS certification to our students, they will learn how to recognize life-threatening situations in which they will be able to provide essential life-saving assistance. Earning certification will help students build self-confidence, motivation, and enthusiasm towards the medical field. As they continue to learn additional technical skills, students will become successful beyond high school.
