Support Ms. Gilder's classroom with a gift that fosters learning.
At the start of the year, my middle school students often express nervousness or frustration towards learning math but throughout the year we work on developing confidence in the math classroom. Each week different students have had the opportunity to teach their peers about the new math concepts that they have learned.
This whiteboard will provide one additional student each week with the opportunity to teach their peers.
My students have really valued the chance to practice new math language, engage each other in conversations about math, and help each other grasp challenging concepts. Each week I can see my students become more confident in themselves and more willing to step out of their comfort zones in the classroom.
