These laptops will make a huge difference in my classroom! Utilizing technology in the classroom will help my students develop life long skills as learners and future employees. During the pandemic, students relied upon technology to obtain daily instruction. It is crucial that we continue to provide them access this technology in the classroom. Currently, we have extremely limited access to laptops, which makes both learning and teaching difficult.
My students love to learn and they love technology!
My class this year contains 8 students in the 8th grade who all are on the Autism Spectrum. They learn best through utilizing multi modalities, which includes using a computer to grasp information. Through the use of daily laptops, students will have access to Powerpoints, videos, presentations and more interactive materials to learn the curriculum. These computers will be a huge asset to my classroom, by allowing me to create daily lessons which are interactive, meaningful and appropriate for my students. Laptops will be used daily to help my students grow academically, socially and emotionally.
By donating to our project, you will be greatly making a difference in the ASD program at our school, and in the students lives!
