Having just entered this teaching position this year, my classroom library is lacking to say the least. I have provided students books to take home from my personal library, but I would love to build my classroom library to target some of their interests and encourage them to find joy in reading. Many of them will not only benefit from the foundational practice, but I would also love to provide my students with a means to unplug, relax, and find joy in the written word. I think this project is a great step in the right direction.
