My students would benefit from more sensory items in my room. I plan on using the finger-paint, play-doh, and other items to add to their calming strategies and their learning. I recently acquired the program "Secret Stories" and Teachers Pay Teachers has many supplemental materials to help my students learn how to read. Due to their behaviors, many of them are struggling with academics.
I have stations in my room and need to fill up the Play-Doh area. I also would like to start having more art projects during the week. These students will start to feel safe and confident about their ability to learn.
