Help me give my Special Education students an engaging and comfortable classroom environment in the midst of COVID-19. Flexible seating can help build skills toward independent learning by fostering proactive learners. Flexible seating options allow students to feel empowered and have more control over their environment, allowing for more collaboration between students and the teacher. For special education students, processing information becomes easier when students use flexible seating and are self-aware of the seating types and environment in which they learn best ultimately decreasing behavior and disciplinary incidents.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement and develop critical lifelong skills including problem-solving, flexibility, creativity, and self-reflection.
