In 5th grade one of the core concepts is using different operations with fractions. Teaching fractions without visual cues and manipulatives makes it hard for students to be able to visualize how fractions work. With these fraction blocks I can give each student a set and we can explore fractions together! A magnetic set will help me complete tasks with them on the board. I use math centers, so the game will be a fun way for students to see fractions differently. Please help fractions become simpler for my students!
