Who doesn't love a good book read aloud to them? I am looking to expand my classroom library to meet the needs of my soon-to-be new first grade students. I would like a variety of first grade level books to read aloud virtually and in person that focus on friendship, diversity, kindness, and are a variety of genres. I will use these books to improve their love of reading and the books will help to nurture interests that my students already have. I love reading books aloud because the students can have great conversations about the books and it is an engaging way to teach different skills.
