Students will use this sand table every day during centers. They will use the items in this sensory/sand table to enhance their learning experience and practice their foundational skills. Sensory play and discovery supports cognitive growth, fine motor skills, problem solving, and peer interaction. My students will use the kinetic sand to become authors, mathematicians, and artists. They will be able to become archaeologists as they dig to discover letters, numbers, and other educational manipulatives. My students will strengthen their fine motor skills and gain confidence as they write their letters, numbers, names, sight words, and much more with their fingers in the sand.
