We borrowed some ukuleles from a variety of sources to experiment with before making an investment to purchase a class set. The students absolutely love playing the ukuleles! It has been especially popular with the 4th and 5th graders, which sometimes can be a difficult age to engage in music. Unfortunately, most of the instruments are old and don't stay in tune, making playing quite frustrating for the students. We will also need to return the instruments to their original owners. We would be so grateful to have quality instruments. We hope to perform with the new instruments at the 5th grade promotion ceremony in May, 2021.
