Research has shown that equipping a classroom that is aesthetically pleasing, a layout that is well organized, and storage that is functional, is definitely more conducive for student learning. This is what I want to accomplish. By purchasing the cabinet, storage will allow organization, containment, "out of sight", better preservation, and more effective use of space, all leading to a more pleasant learning environment. In addition, the notebooks will provide accountability, an identified location to place notes, handouts, and materials as well as instilling in students organizational skills, safe-keeping, and accessibility. Simple life skills such as these are far too often overlooked.
