I would love to get my students into a reading series that they can learn factual information about events that happened around our world. I want to instill the love of reading into my students so that they may take this new found love of reading and apply it throughout their lives. Students will be reading the books then they will develop a slide show to present to their classmates. This will allow them to do some research but also incorporate technology into their project. I will be able to have our technology teacher visit our classroom and teach students how to use google slides, add pictures and text to make their projects come alive. I believe this is something that students will love and also be a way to share their learning with family virtually.
