My students are Special Education students who all read at a low level. They are learning quickly and have gone through all the books in my small classroom library. I need help to fill the Library so their reading comprehension and love for reading continues.
By filling our class library with more books, my students will be able to maintain their growth and skills and so will their self-esteem. Self-esteem is sometimes the largest challenge for Special Education students. They have been told they can't do something for so long, that the little bit of encouragement and skill skyrockets them to success.
