The classroom carpet is the center of learning and collaboration in a PreK classroom. It’s the place where we learn our letters and numbers, jump into another world through a story, collaborate with friends to write sentences, build with blocks, write letters, dance and sing, and so much more. At the carpet, students grow social emotional skills as well as academic. They learn to work together and how to problem solve. A new carpet will allow my students to have a fresh and defined space to sit so they can focus on learning and having fun. Unfortunately, classroom carpets are expensive and I need your help to provide my students with a fresh space to grow their brains.
