I have students whose second language is English. Their understanding of the language is often limited and confusing for my students. Students in my program do not learn through traditional teaching methods. They need hands-on learning and role-playing situations so they can make real-world connections. Students in my program are eager to learn, they thrive on gaining knowledge, however, I need materials in which they can build their own knowledge and understanding of the world around them. The joy my students have when they see all the amazing things the world has to offer is priceless. The materials I have asked for will increase my students' knowledge of varying math concepts.
My students will use these materials to build language, social, math, and vocabulary skills.
My students have diverse needs and do not learn in a traditional manner. Each student in my classroom learns in their own unique way. The magnetic clocks, wipes off student clocks, classroom behavioral organizer, magnetic wipe off boards, and magentic sentences strips will help my students build their reading and math skills while working independently. My students need to learn about math in their everyday life and help to be independent citizens in our community. Please help me build their skills.
