A variety of board books in the classroom will help foster a love of reading while introducing students to many different topics. These books will be a strong foundation for a lifelong journey of reading, learning, and discovery. Students will use the books to retell stories, interact with characters, and as mentor texts to begin creating their own stories. Even the youngest learners can form meaningful, inspiring, connections with literature. These rich experiences create memorable, engaging relationships with books and encourage students to continue their journey with reading. Additionally, developing reading skills early on promotes enhanced vocabulary, comprehension, creativity, and more!
