Do you remember the excitement of getting hooked on a good book as a kid? The best way to increase a student’s reading ability is through a good book that interests them. These books will not only help me teach a powerful reading unit that will align to fourth grade standards, but will also teach them a valuable life lesson. “Wonder” is a book that advocates for inclusion, acceptance, and kindness. My students have shown an admirable love for reading. This project will help enrich their interest to continue that.
