The Dynamath magazines bring math to life for my students. There are real world problems in the math magazine so students can relate the math that they are doing in class to their lives. Also, the magazine incorporates literacy skills since all the math problems are word problems. By incorporating literacy skills at the same time as the math skills the students will benefit two-fold. Student's love real life math and especially seeing how math is used in everyday life. So many times math is presented in an abstract drill the skill way, but by using this magazine the students will put the math concepts to real life practice.
