The students at our school live in poverty and there are not many books in their homes. This project allows for students to have access to sets of books to read while in school and the students may take more than one book home to read. Hopefully, this will inspire our students to develop more of a love and appreciation for books in print. More exposure to books means that our students will read more and be more prepared for the world that they are about to enter as young adults.
