We have purchased an online component for vocational/transition learning for our students with intellectual disabilities. Having this touchscreen chromebook will allow students with physical challenges to have access to the touchscreen so that they can independently navigate through the program. In addition to supporting vocational needs, this chromebook will help support academic and social-emotional learning. A touchscreen Chromebook will truly help our students in the classroom every day! Not only will my students be completing activities through the new online vocational curriculum; they will also use it to watch videos of specific job positions, research careers, complete online applications, and create a resume so that they are more prepared for the workforce.
