I love reading aloud to my students and opening their minds to great literature. Literature brings out their love of reading. It also teaches them how to have great discussions. We call it our “Classroom Book Club”. After an entire year of on-line instruction (during a Global Pandemic) my students have missed having real books-books that they can see and touch. They are not engaged in the books they read on-line and the selection is subpar. I want to rekindle their passion for literature and dive into some new and amazing novels.
