Students were not able to be in the classroom and use materials to help them learn to read and practice words and interact with their peers in fun ways during COVID -19.
The materials I am requesting will enable my students to talk, play, and work with their classmates to learn to build, make, and practice reading in a fun and engaging environment.
The manipulatives I am requesting will help children build gross motor movement by tossing Pom poms into muffin tins and reading words that they land in. They will have different sensory experiences by building words with kinetic sand and sensory markers. They will also use the fly swatters and hand slappers to play fun word games while learning!
