Our school is Urban/Suburban school. With our school focusing on the state tests, the art takes a back seat to other subjects. But in the last few years we have been taking steps to help our students become more involved in the Arts which has seemed to help them with skills when taking the state tests. My students want to learn and will ask questions and challenge me to push them farther. We have a small art library in our department but having a printer in our room would help them explore other avenues of art.
