By giving my students iPads to use in the classroom, they can access so many amazing learning apps to take virtual field trips, create virtual journals and recordings to share with friends and families, and have access to a different way to share their learning through technology. iPads can allow students to record answers to questions where they might not have been as eager to write, practice math problems with a fun and engaging game, and practice penmanship through tutorials! iPads can even allow students access to thousands of books and read alouds to help them grow in their love of literacy! With the gift of iPads, not only are students in my class gaining a great tool for today, they are learning how to be technologically prepared for tomorrow!
