I plan to take the small items in the tubs and sew them into beanbags with a window so the kids can push around the beans (or rice) to discover the items inside. Then the kids can discover the letter sounds in a hands on interactive way. We can make dictionaries or play games to increase engagement and interaction with the letter sounds and frequently we will also be able to use the beanbags for consonant and vowel blends. Anyway to make learning fun and interactive instead of stagnate sit-and-get is my ultimate goal.
