The best way to support a student while learning is to make sure basic needs are taken care of. A number of students and families in our community struggle to have things we take for granted such as hygiene products and school supplies.
A group of students spearheaded a food pantry at our school. They have decided that they would like to add basic school supplies and hygiene products to our pantry. I am writing this in hopes that we can encourage the group that initiated the pantry and those struggling to have basic supplies.
These supplies will be available to anyone who expresses a need. We have created an anonymous method for students to request assistance. Now we need to stock up!
