Each student has their individual personality, and that is reflected in their reading choices. Fairy tales, historical fiction, sports, and even scary stories all need a place in the classroom.
Expanding our classroom library and introducing new, different, and exciting books in all genres, will help to develop an inclusive environment for every student, while simultaneously growing their love of reading.
Each month students are asked to read a book from a different genre. This helps to introduce them to different types of books and find new books to enjoy and explore.
