Young students learn best when given thoughtful choices about where and how they learn best. Flexible seating arrangements in my classroom would allow my students to select an area of the classroom to work using either a scoop chair, floor cushion, or desk option.
Flexible seating creates a student-centered learning space while boosting student engagement; proper center storage allows for easy access to engaging materials in order to reach all learners.
My goal, through this project, is to create a student-centered classroom environment where individual learning needs are valued and celebrated and students have easy access to station materials.
