Students deserve to be comfortable while they are learning! The lap desks donated will provide my students with the option to work at a desk or on the floor. When I bring students into my classroom now, if they want to work on the floor, they have to use a clipboard and some have trouble balancing it on their laps. By donating towards the lap desks , you will help provide my students with flexible seating in my classroom. The students in my current classroom also benefit from sensory needs. Many flexible seating options stimulate students’ sense of touch. This type of stimulation can help children focus and process information. Sensory input is especially helpful for students with ADHD, ADD, and ASD.
