Due to the rapid growth in the use of technology and Covid, the way of teaching and learning has changed a lot in the past few years. Schools provide tablets and laptops to students not only to begin integrating more and more technology into the classroom but also to support remote learning. Let's take a break from screens and start to interact, collaborate, and communicate with other students again by building lego bricks (BricQ set). Through activities, students are able to build self-confidence, express themselves, and build empathy which will help them learn social and emotional skills. In addition to social-emotional learning, the LEGO Education BricQ set will help my students learn in science lessons. In fourth grade science, one of the topics is energy transfer. Building lego will help my students to explore physical science such as forces, and motion with easy hands-on learning experiences without the need for technology. Besides, students will learn how to work together, share ideas, problem-solve, and come up with ideas. I have seen so many good things when they build lego bricks. I look forward to seeing more sparks in my classroom when we get these fun BricQ sets.
