The materials that I have requested will give my students the opportunity to connect and explore with their friends. The moon table will allow me as the teacher to help my students in their learning as I am able to just reach across the table to interact with them instead of having to get up and walk over to them. The blocks that I've asked for will allow my students to build things with their imagination with colorful blocks instead of plain brown blocks. The pebbles will allow students to practice balancing materials on top of one another, and we could also use them to practice counting and color skills with the children.
The sand will help our children build their fine motor skills by playing and exploring in this kid-safe sand. The splash mat will help us teachers when doing hands-on activities to keep the carpets clean throughout the day. The trucks and cars will give children more options to choose what to play with and explore motor vehicles.
All these materials will benefit our classroom by giving the children many new opportunities and options to explore.
