As a new teacher, I don't have a lot of the tools needed to give my students the best possible learning experience. My students do so much better when they have the manipulatives they need right at their fingertips. The math boards, ten frames, base ten blocks, links, and counting bears/fruits will help them in math when counting, sorting, and doing basic adding/subtracting skills. It will make it easier for them to understand number sense. The pattern blocks and geometric shapes will help when teaching shapes, patterns, and logical thinking of the world around them. The magnetic boards and letters will be a fun way to help with phonics skills when we work on various spelling features. They can move the letters around much easier and have fun making words. The fluency cards, fluency partner scripts, and theater scripts will make reading more fun for the students in various ways. They will be able to read about interesting topics and test to see how fluent they've become over time. They will also build reading confidence by reading with a partner or small group using the scripts. Please help my class so we can build our foundation skills even more with these fun educational tools!
