As a first year teacher, my classroom looks a little bare. Since we are a multi-grade Special Education classroom, we love learning using adaptive, tactile, and colorful items! Having large visual objects and hands-on activities makes easier for my students to follow along. Using different items with different textures makes learning for my kiddos more hands- on and FUN!! They do enjoy variety and their interests can shift from day to day so having a wide variety of tools to use helps keep our kiddos engaged while learning at school.
