Support Mrs. Benthall's classroom with a gift that fosters learning.
With a class set of iPads, I will be able to introduce my students to many different things. One of the main tasks I will implement is Project Based Learning. Project Based Learning is a teaching method in which students learn by actively engaging in real-world and personally meaningful projects. This will give students the chance to apply skills they learn at school and use them to solve problems. Students will use the iPads to solve real-world problems like pollution, global warming, and transportation infrastructure. Students will work in groups to research, plan, write proposals and create PSAs. The iPads will assist students with making video presentations and researching problems.
By funding my project you will be creating critical thinkers, focused learners, and lifelong problem solvers.
Students will be able to take the iPads home to continue learning. They can use iMessage to contact me with questions about homework. Students will have access to apps that can identify learning gaps and give me the information I need to create lesson plans that will target those gaps. We will also be able to use Zoom to conduct tutoring sessions and parent conferences.
In our world, access to technology is fundamental. Daily interactions with the iPads will enhance my students’ excitement about learning and give them the skills they need to be successful life-long learners.
