In the middle school band classroom, it is common for woodwind students, especially beginners, to cycle through reeds fairly quickly. This project will help to ensure all of my woodwind students at our middle school have enough good-quality reeds to play on during the 2021-2022 school year. Having a good-working reed is vital to a quality sound on a woodwind instrument. Incorrect reed sizes/types can cause a lot of issues for young, developing musicians. Funding this project will help set my students up for success as they continue to develop on their instrument(s).

About my class
