All of the equipment is so important to the students. The wristbands will allow the students to safely keep their running QR code card with them during class to scan after each quarter mile they run. There are over 500 students and each student will have their own individual QR code card. The PVC pipe will be painted red and with the added reflector markers will be used as a visual guidance so the students will know where the corners will be to turn for their laps. The charms and items will be used as incentives for the students during our PE class and give them motivation to keep going. The students already enjoy running, but being able to see how many miles they have ran will increase their desire to keep going forward. We will also integrate math and add up all of the students miles and see how far we ran as a school. They are so excited to see this happen.
