We have a new classroom that is not fully stocked with a comprehensive library. One of the books is going to help me develop a Culture Centered Curriculum. We are the same, we are different! Our goal is to have books that reflect what our students look like and where they are from. It is so important for children to see themselves represented in literature. These books will be part of my lending library so that other teachers can incorporate them into their lessons. Help me change the way they see themselves before they are sent out into the big world out there!
