The novels that will be purchased will be used to help my students build reading comprehension. The students will also gain a greater understanding of the literary skills used by authors to make a text engaging and interesting to read. It is my goal that my students will love reading by the end of the school year! By using age-appropriate, engaging books I am hoping that students will not only love reading, but be able to use the skills that they have gained to enjoy and comprehend texts that they read all throughout their lives.

About my class
