The requested materials will be used in my 5th grade math class for teaching and instruction. The timer is needed for DO NOWs, small group instruction, and timed assignments. The Base Ten item is for Standards Based classroom instruction of all base ten math lessons. Eraser boards are needed for guided and independent math practice. The cash pack is to teach the students the fundamentals of money. But it will also be used to continue instruction of place value. The fraction pack will be used for decimal & fraction instruction throughout the year. The calculators are needed for students’ accommodations during instruction.
