I take pride in creating a safe, nurturing classroom environment for my students. Part of creating this environment includes giving them a cozy space to work collaboratively with their peers. It is also a place for the class to come together as a whole group. It was time to (finally) throw away my old carpet. Now I am hoping to provide a beautiful, high-quality carpet for my fifth graders to enjoy for years to come. Research shows that when students feel safe and comfortable in a classroom environment, they will become more engaged in the learning process!

About my class
