This year was eye-opening to me. I noticed that some of the materials we may see as everyday necessities some may not be able to get their hands on.
I am starting this project to allow my scholars access to school materials we will be using daily in the classroom. My students will use the classroom notebooks to create an interactive journal in both English Language Arts as well as Mathematics. Scholars will use the crayons and colored pencils when completing a color by number while working independently in math class. In order for us to create hands-on projects in the classroom, I would appreciate my scholars having the access to scissors as well. That way my 6th graders can challenge themselves to go above and beyond on work/crafts that will hang on the hallway walls.
My future scholars and I would greatly appreciate this project being funded- thanks in advance!
