Having a beautiful rug in our classroom will provide students with a calm gathering place for daily connection circles, discussions, and lessons. It will provide much needed structure to our classroom and the work we do on the floor. In addition to daily lessons, this rug will provide a structured meeting place for out connection circles and mindfulness practice. At connection circles, each students shares what they are grateful for and responds to a discussion question. These discussions spark compassion and community within our classroom. Thank you so much for considering donating to our classroom!
